Just about perfect. Early September is one of the loveliest times to experience Portugal, with warm, sunny days typically in the 70s and 80s Fahrenheit, comfortable evenings, and very little rain. The intense summer heat and the heaviest crowds have eased by then, so you get glorious weather and a more relaxed pace at every stop, from the streets of Lisbon to the beaches of the Algarve.

Solo travelers are very welcome. Many people on these trips travel on their own and leave with lasting friendships. A single room is available at $6,449. Single accommodations are limited, so early registration is recommended.
